Welcome!

St. John United Lutheran Church, Seattle, is undertaking a year-long process to revitalize our worship,
to deepen relationships within the congregation and with our neighborhood,
and to renew our commitment to community service.
We are hoping this blog can be a tool to receive your input, whether you are a member of our congregation, an interested neighbor, or someone who uses the SJU building. At the end of each week we will post a particular question for feedback. Please share your thoughts! We will be screening the comments before they appear on the blog, but not editing them. Thanks for your help!

What does SJU mean to you?

If you are a member/participant of SJU, what drew you here and why do you stay? How would you speak of the "good news" that you receive through this congregation's ministry?
If you are a neighbor, or someone who meets, eats or sleeps here, what does SJU mean to you? Is it just a building? More than that?
